TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE at Theatre Winter Haven

Theatre Winter Haven, located in the Chain of Lakes Civic Center at 210 Cypress Gardens Boulevard, Winter Haven, FL, will hold auditions for TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom. The production will run for 3 weeks, April 11-28, 2019. Performances are Thursday through Sunday.

TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE is the autobiographical story of Mitch Albom, an accomplished journalist driven solely by his career, and Morrie Schwartz, his former college professor. Sixteen years after graduation, Mitch happens to catch Morrie’s appearance on a television news program and learns that his old professor is battling Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Mitch is reunited with Morrie, and what starts as a simple visit turns into a weekly pilgrimage and a last class in the meaning of life.

TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE will be directed by TWH Production Manager, Thom Altman. Bobby Lanier will Stage Manage. This production is co-produced by Alan Jay Automotive Network & The Cypress Gardens Lions Club.

Auditions will be held at Theatre Winter Haven on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 7:00 pm and Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 7:00 pm. If required, callbacks will be held on Thursday, February 7, at 7:00 pm. Rehearsals will begin Monday, February 18, 2019.

As an incentive to sign up for the audition with Auditions Manager, the first hour of each open call will be given over exclusively to those who register and schedule an audition time through this service.

Pre-registration is recommended, but not required. Once pre-registration through this website is closed, auditionees may show up at either open call and complete their registration in person.
