Encore Performing Arts is excited to announce new performance opportunities for students through Encore Youth Programs − Youth Wind Ensemble. Encore Youth Programs empowers young musicians to achieve excellence and inspire their communities through a shared love of music.

Youth Wind Ensemble is an honor band style program designed for students in grades 8-12 to receive an advanced wind band performance experience. Youth Wind Ensemble rehearses weekly with their conductor, Dr. Jo Jossim. Students perform multiple concerts at notable performance venues throughout the season, while also offering unique musical experiences. These experiences include guest clinicians, masterclasses with professional musicians for each instrument in the ensemble, notable guest performers, and training in chamber music. Sign up below to audition for the Youth Wind Ensemble for the spring 2026 semester. Audition information can be found on the right-side of the page under "Requirements."
