AGES: - Youth Ensemble is available as a performance opportunity for students who are currently in the 3rd – 8th grade.
GUIDELINES
– Auditions will take place at: St. Luke’s United Methodist Church 4851 S. Apopka Vineland Rd. Orlando, FL 32819
- All students MUST prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theatre, Disney, or Pop song (the equivalent of a verse and a chorus)
- Students MAY choose to additionally present a one-minute, memorized comedic monologue. *Optional*
- Please bring sheet music or an instrumental track on a device. (Please disable the lock screen.)
- Please bring a resume/list of arts experiences and headshot or recent picture of yourself.
REHEARSALS: - Meet and Greet + Full Company rehearsal: TBD - Small Group rehearsals: Select Sundays 1:30pm - 4:30pm *Rehearsal schedule will be based on song placements, solos, and small groups. Not everyone will be called to every Sunday rehearsal.*
TECH WEEK: *PLEASE NOTE: The FULL COMPANY will be called every night of tech week* - Monday 5/8 – 6:00pm - 10:00pm (staggered call times TBD) - Tuesday 5/9 – 6:00pm - 10:00pm (staggered call times TBD) - Wednesday 5/10 – 6:00pm-10:00pm (dress rehearsal) - Thursday 5/11 – 6:00pm - 10:00pm (dress rehearsal)

OTHER INFORMATION
Theater at St. Luke’s creates an opportunity for students to develop their skills and build confidence through voice, movement, and acting. Students are taught the process of character development, theatre fundamentals and create and learn from some of Central Florida’s best professional Directors and teaching artists.
