Auditionees who are interested in being considered for YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN should prepare a 32-bar cut (about 1 minute) of a musical theatre song.
Legible sheet music must be provided for the audition pianist. No a cappella or prerecorded accompaniment will be permitted.
If you are invited to the callback, be prepared to learn a short movement combination and wear appropriate movement attire for the movement combination. Sneakers or dance shoes are okay, but no sandals, crocs or heels.
Additionally, auditionees who are called back may also read/sing (if applicable) from the show.

*Dr. Frederick Frankenstein (Baritone) - Brilliant brain surgeon, professor and grandson of mad scientist Dr. Victor Von Frankenstein.
Vocal range top: G#4 Vocal range bottom: Bb2
*The Monster (Baritone) - The misunderstood creation of Dr. Frankenstein.
Vocal range top: Eb4 Vocal range bottom: G3
*Igor (Tenor) - Frederick’s faithful, bright-eyed, eager servant and friend with a hunchback.
Vocal range top: G4 Vocal range bottom: Bb2
*Inga (Soprano w/ Yodel) - Frederick’s young assistant. Attractive and a resident of Transylvania.
*Frau Blücher (Mezzo/Belter) - Stern housekeeper of the Frankenstein estate and former lover of Victor Frankenstein.
Vocal range top: Bb4 Vocal range bottom: F#3
*Inspector Hans Kemp (Baritone) - The head of police in Transylvania. Driven by justice, with a wooden arm and leg.

*The Hermit (Bass) - A lonely, blind town hermit, hoping for a friend.

*Dr. Victor Von Frankenstein (Tenor) - The infamous Dr. Frankenstein and Frederick's grandfather.

*Ziggy - The village idiot.
*Ensemble - Members of the ensemble will also understudy some of the principle roles, as well as play Gravediggers, Villagers, Medical Students, Passengers and Mad Scientists
OTHER INFORMATION
As an incentive to sign up for the audition with Auditions Manager, the first hour of each open call will be given over exclusively to those who pre-register through this service.
Pre-registration is recommended, but not required.
Once pre-registration through this website is closed, auditionees may show up at either open call and complete their registration in person.
