Seeking youth performers in rising grades 6 - 12.

Please submit a headshot and résumé (optional).

Auditions will be held on Saturday, April 5th from 3:30pm - 6:30pm.

Auditions are held in person at the Athens Theatre Rehearsal Hall (108 N. Florida Ave. DeLand, FL 32725).

Auditioners will be asked to read select scenes from the script. Scenes and sides will be provided one week prior to the audition date.

SHOW DESCRIPTION:
With Great Power Comes Ordinary Responsibility!

For superheroes, saving the world is tough, but the time spent away from work is tougher. The Hulk has to do taxes, a crime-fighting sidekick joins a support group, and Batman goes stir-crazy without enough criminals to take down. SUPERHEROES is a funny, fast-paced series of vignettes that explores how the caped crusaders deal with life in street clothes.

GUIDELINES

This production will take place in DeLand, Florida.

There is no prior experience necessary to submit an audition. The Athens Theatre Youth Academy strongly encourages and welcomes young performers of all ethnicities, shapes, sizes, gender identities, and varying skill levels to audition for our summer productions.

OTHER INFORMATION

TUITION AND CASTING:
This production is tuition based and auditions are open to all students in rising grades 6 - 12.

Tuition is $300 per student performer.

Submitting an audition does not guarantee placement in the cast.

All families will be contacted via phone or email by Friday April 11th with the results of the audition process.

If your child is cast in the show and accepts their role, tuition will be due in full by Saturday, April 19th.

All casting decisions are at the sole discretion of the Directors and are final when the cast list is announced.
