REHEARSALS Rehearsals will take place weekly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6-9:30pm until Tech and performances. There will be one Saturday rehearsal from 12-6pm on April 4. The first rehearsal will be Tuesday, February 17th, 2026.

GUIDELINES
SEEKING: Actors age 16 and up for all roles. Performers of all races and ethnicities, identities, and abilities are encouraged to attend.
AUDITIONS: Tuesday February 3 from 6:00-9:00 pm in Rehearsal Room C Wednesday February 4 from 6:00-9:00 pm in Rehearsal Room C *If all time slots are filled for your desired audition day, please come and we will work you in to audition as time allows.
CALLBACKS: Thursday February 5 from 6:00-9:00 pm in Rehearsal Room C By Invitation only.

WHAT TO PREPARE: 1) A one-minute song 2) One of the audition monologues from the provided materials 3) Be ready to dance!
SONG: Actors should prepare to sing a one-minute song in the style of the show. You may either: A) Prepare a song of your choosing and bring sheet music with your cuts clearly marked in a binder for the accompanist. OR B) Sing one of the two song options found in the RESOURCES section ('It's Your Wedding Day' or 'Someday').
MONOLOGUE: Please select one monologue from the provided materials to read at auditions. This selection does not need to be memorized.
DANCE: Please dress in clothing that allows you to move, and wear appropriate footwear you can dance in. No prior dance experience is needed - we just want to see how you express joy and fun while moving!
WHAT TO EXPECT: The dance portion of the audition will take place from 7-8pm, and actors sign up for a singing time slot either before (from 6-7pm) or after (from 8-9pm).
PLEASE NOTE: Actors will be considered for multiple roles, as appropriate, and may be asked to read acting sides at the audition. Physical copies of the Audition Sides will be available at the audition.
Please arrive early to fill out paperwork.
MORE ABOUT CALLBACKS: Callbacks are by invitation, and actors asked to callbacks will be emailed digital copies of callback materials to prepare prior to callbacks. Physical copies of the materials will be available at callbacks, so you don’t have to print them out ahead of time.

ROBBIE HART Male Presenting, to play 20s - 30s; the lead singer of the wedding band ‘Simply Wed.’ Robbie has a very quirky, wholesome energy about him, with a classic lead singer aura and personality. He is charismatic, handsome, and a romantic dreamer. He has both charm and emotional depth. (Vocal Range: Rock Tenor B3 - C6 falsetto)
JULIA SULLIVAN Female Presenting, to play 20s - 30s; a winsome waitress at a wedding venue. She is empathetic, caring, hopeful, and brave. The "girl next door,” she is full of warmth, sincerity, and vulnerability. (Vocal Range: Soprano/Mezzo G3 - F5)
HOLLY Female Presenting, to play 20s - 30s; Julia’s cousin and best friend; has an 80s Madonna vibe. Uninhibited, brash, fun-loving, flirtatious, and bold, she is comfortable in her body, confident, and always up for a good time. (Vocal Range: Pop Belt A3 - E5)
SAMMY Male Presenting, to play 30s - 40s; the bass player in the wedding band and one of Robbie’s best friends. A total guy’s guy who has swagger, but beneath his facade of loving his bachelor lifestyle, he has hidden tenderness and is secretly in love with Holly. (Vocal Range: Baritone C4 - A5)
GEORGE Male Presenting, to play 20s - 30s; the wedding band’s keyboardist and one of Robbie’s best friends. He is sweet, sensitive, witty, and very flamboyant; balances out Sammy’s macho persona. (Vocal Range: C4 - A5)
GLEN GUGLIA Male Presenting, to play 30s - 40s; Juli’s fiancé; a shallow and materialistic Wall Street broker who tries to buy Julia’s love with money. Arrogant and manipulative, he is a bit of a womanizer who has villainous energy with charm masking cruelty. (Vocal range: C4–B5.)
LINDA Female Presenting, to play 20s - 30s; Robbie's ex-fiancé; a Pat Benatar type. She is sexy, bold, selfish, and unapologetic; flashy and a bit trashy. (Vocal Range: Mezzo Rocker A3 - D5)
ROSIE Female Presenting, to play 50+; Robbie’s grandmother who raised him. Motherly and caring, but also adventurous and fiery. She tries to remain ‘hip’ despite her age; can rap. (Vocal Range: C4 - C5)
