Auditions: Wednesday, August 12th at 4:15 PM All actors must attend a mandatory dance call at 4:15 PM on Wednesday, August 12th, followed by audition time slots beginning at 5:15pm.
Actors should prepare a short vocal selection (no more than 1 minute please) in the style of the show. No a capella singing or tracks, please. All actors need to bring sheet music, properly marked to sing. Please have a short monologue prepared if asked. * Actors are asked to bring sheet music in the proper key, no tracks please.
Callbacks: Saturday, August 15th by invitation. *Callbacks are by invitation. Not every actor will need to be called back.

MATILDA Jr. is part of our Pre-Professional Training Program with various options for your actor.
Choose your track:
Track 1: Pre-Professional Training Program. In addition to the training received in rehearsal for MATILDA Jr. you receive your choice of two (2) hourly Conservatory Enrichment Classes per week. All classes begin the week of August 11th and run through December 17th. Every class has a final showcase at the end of the semester in December. Class info is below. Price: $300 per month (4 hours of rehearsal, plus two hour long training classes per week) *One payment is made at the time of registration and then automatically once per month beginning September 1st through the production in December.
Track 2: MATILDA Jr. Only. Involvement in the TSP Pre-Professional Training Production of MATILDA Jr. No additional Conservatory Enrichment Classes are included. Price: $200 per month (4 hours of rehearsal and training per week) *One payment is made at the time of registration and then automatically once per month beginning September 1st through the production in December.
Track 3: TSP Full-Time Conservatory existing/enrolled students. Please call (407-601-4380) or email (admin@theatresouthplayhouse.org) to enroll as the price point is adjusted to reflect your existing Conservatory Enrichment Classes. Price: $180 per month (4 hours of rehearsal/training per week) *One payment is made at the time of registration and then automatically once per month beginning September 1st through the production in December.
