REQUIREMENTS

For the safety of everyone involved, ALL actors will be required to be fully vaccinated and boosted in order to participate in these productions.

We will be implementing strict protocols to keep everyone healthy and safe throughout the rehearsal and performance process. Adherence to all protocols is mandatory at all times.

Rehearsals are generally held weeknights and weekend afternoons. While we can accommodate a few isolated schedule conflicts, actors are expected to be generally available at these times.

GUIDELINES

Audition sides are available at the link under "Resources" above.

Audition sides do NOT need to be memorized.

INSTRUCTIONS for the audition:

From the sides provided at the link above, please choose one speech from TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA and one speech from either JULIUS CAESAR or ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA. We'll have you start with those, but we may also ask you to read any of the other speeches from the sides if time permits.

If you are only auditioning for one play, you can just choose one speech from that play to start with.

You can upload a headshot and resume on this page. These are not required but are recommended if you haven't worked with us before.

OTHER INFORMATION

On your audition day, keep the time around your audition slot free (keep at least 15 minutes before and 30 minutes after your slot open).

You will be sent a Zoom meeting invitation link by email just before we are ready to see you. Click this link to join the meeting and begin your audition.

If we are running late or off time, we will be in contact via email or phone. Please check periodically for updates.

A few tips:

We understand that everyone has a different tech setup, and you will not be judged on your level of technical prowess.

If possible, use a laptop with a webcam, microphone, and broadband internet access to set up Zoom. If you don’t have a laptop with a camera/mic, you can use a phone or iPad, but they will be lower quality.

Position the camera so we can see you from the waist up if possible. You can place your device on a table and stand back — we will be able to hear you.
