Big River Audition Information
Mad Cow Theatre is seeking professional, ethnically diverse actor/singers for Big River, most of whom will play multiple roles. Especially interested in those with instrumental ability as well - guitar, banjo, fiddle, harmonica, mouth harp, spoons, etc. All roles available. Please prepare two contrasting 32-bar cuts of your choice and bring a headshot and resume. An accompanist will be provided, no CDs or lead sheets please.
PLEASE NOTE- You will be asked to sing ONE of your 32 bar selections during your time block. If we need to hear more you will be asked to STAY until the end of the hour to sing your additional 32 bars. Please plan accordingly.
Please arrive AT LEAST 10 minutes before your audition time in order to fill out paperwork.

General Rehearsal Schedule: We tend to rehearse for a minimum of three to four weeks for each of our productions on Tuesday-Sunday evenings from 6 PM to 11 PM. Tech week may extend these hours in addition to scheduling a 10 of 12 the Saturday prior to open. Weekly hours range from 26-36 hours.
General Performance Schedule: Performances in The Harriett take place Thurs.—Sat. at 7:30 PM, with performances on Sundays at 2:30 PM, one Saturday performance at 2:30 PM and two Monday performances at 7:30 PM.
