Seeking Adult Actors and Children ages 6+ (non-union)

The Athens Theatre strongly encourages and welcomes performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, Gender-Nonconforming, Non-Binary, shapes, sizes, and actors with varying abilities to submit for any of the roles below with the understanding that there are individual characters that may identify as a woman or man.

Please submit a headshot, résumé, a 16-32-bar cut of singing in the style of classic musical theatre, and a dance reel (if available).

Submissions must be submitted through Auditions Manager by Sunday, September 1, at 11:59 pm.

Callbacks are by invitation only and will be held at the Athens Theatre on Sunday, September 22, from 6:00 to 10:30 p.m.

SHOW DESCRIPTION:

In this timeless musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol, miserly Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes a profound experience of redemption throughout a Christmas Eve night after being visited by the ghost of his former partner, Jacob Marley, and the ghosts of Christmas past, Present, and Christmas Yet To Come.

This production features a beautiful score and book written by Milton Granger, performed with live musicians.
