THE PAJAMA GAME Book by George Abbott & Richard Bissell, Music & Lyrics by Jerry Ross & Richard Adler. Based on the novel, 7 1/2 Cents by Richard Bissell
THE PAJAMA GAME is a classic musical comedy that tells the story of a love affair blossoming between a new factory superintendent, Sid Sorokin, and a fiery union representative, Babe Williams. At the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory, tensions are high — and not just on the factory floor. As the workers fight for a 7½ cent pay raise, management and labor clash in a battle of wills — and Sid and Babe find themselves caught between their growing attraction and their loyalties. Called “Dynamic and Joyous” by The Guardian, THE PAJAMA GAME promises an evening of laughter, songs, dance and heart!
