While we can usually accommodate a few isolated schedule conflicts, actors are expected to be generally available at our scheduled rehearsal times.
For everyone's safety, all actors are expected to be up to date with Covid vaccines.
GUIDELINES
Audition sides are available at the link under "Resources" above.
Audition sides do NOT need to be memorized.
INSTRUCTIONS for the audition:
Please choose one character that you would like to read first. You can choose a character of any age and gender. Sides do not need to be memorized, but you should be familiar with the text so that we can ask you to play with it in different ways. We will probably ask you to read one or more other characters as well, so it would be a good idea to be familiar with all the sides.
You can upload a headshot and resume on this page. These are not required but are recommended if you haven't worked with us before.
OTHER INFORMATION
On your audition day, keep the time around your audition slot free (keep at least 15 minutes before and 30 minutes after your slot open).
You will be sent a Zoom meeting invitation link by email. Click this link to join the meeting and begin your audition.
If we are running late or off time, we will be in contact via email or phone. Please check periodically for updates.
A few tips:
We understand that everyone has a different tech setup, and you will not be judged on your level of technical prowess.
If possible, use a computer with a webcam, microphone, and high-speed internet service for the auditions. If necessary, you can use a phone or iPad, but they will be lower quality.
Ideally, we would prefer you to be standing and positioned so we can see you from the waist up.
